About the symposium

  • The dawn of the 21 st century has brought certain dramatic lifestyle changes in our daily routines. Inappropriate lifestyles including long sedentary habits, indulgence in consuming inappropriate diet & lack of exercise have been most common reasons for the rise of multiple joint diseases worldwide. The surgical interventions (Knee / Hip replacements) have definitely eased off the patient’s comforts for Pain-free movements.
  • Although modern system of medicine has significantly developed & evolved in the treatment field, the approach still lies mainly in just “Pain-killing”, yet the overall well-being of the patient somewhere seems missing. This is evident from the fact that apart from the Pain, the subjective well being of the patient seems compromised along with several side effects and over-dependence on Pain killers. This only opens up the vast scope for the holistic approach of Ayurveda treatment.
  • The Panchakarma Treatments alongwith herbo-mineral compounds not only mange the pain but also repair the multiple joints of the body, giving over all feeling of well being to the patient of Multiple Joint Disease.
  • The National Symposium is also envisaged with an unique idea of providing the updated & latest Clinical knowledge regarding multiple joint diseases specially Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteo-Arthritis, Lumber Spondylosis,Cervical Spondylosis, Avascular Necrosis (AVN) to the scholars and practitioners of Ayurveda.
  • The Symposium is scientifically planned to cover the core clinical principles of Modern Science, Ayurveda & Panchakarma along with practical demonstration of Panchakarma procedures & Lifestyle modification session with Yoga & Meditation.
  • It would be an Interactive symposium where elite experts from different sciences, academicians, practitioners, entrepreneurs would be sharing their clinical knowledge & skills with participants. It would certainly enable the participants to understand the subject better in Holistic way and also they would be motivated to practice the principles of Ayurveda to treat this dreadful disease condition.
  • The National Integrated Symposium is also supported by Ministry of AYUSH.
